Culture and People
The sense of community on the continent is one you cannot find anywhere else. People respect their elders, treat everyone as a brother or sister, and help raise children. The culture of the continent is rich and varied. There are over 1000 dialects on the continent and many, many different tribes. The culture and history of Africa is as old as the human race.
The Cradle of Civilisation
Long before towns and villages in Europe were conceptualised, great African kingdoms were being built. Vast cities were erected, trade and commerce were strong, and civilisation was thriving. Who can ignore the fact that the first mother to all of humanity was an African? That, in itself, makes Africa the best continent on Earth.
Any food you could ever need is grown in Africa. When you bite into an orange or pineapple you get only the richest, sweetest flavours known to humankind. The best farmland in the world is in Africa, south of the Sahara. In Zimbabwe and Uganda I saw coffee growing next to Pineapple and Potatoes growing next to Passion Fruit. The African continent has enough food and arable land to feed all of its inhabitants and the world. The flavors, the colours, and the smells of African grown food make locally prepared dishes, like fufu and groundnut soup, the tastiest in the world.
With over 250 national parks, Africa is the BEST continent to see the most breathtaking views in the world. From the Kalahari desert in Botswana to the ocean views on the beach in Zanzibar, you will grow old attempting to visit all the natural beauty Africa has to offer.
